Katie from Band (Katie Delcourt) is a multi-genre singer-songwriter from Biddeford, Maine. Combining elements from country, folk, pop, punk, jazz, and other genres, she creates a unique listening experience that is deep, fun, and full of surprises. From musical comedy to emotional ballads, expect to be clapping, dancing, crying, singing and laughing. Whether you are looking for a specific aesthetic or are open to possibilities, she will curate a show for your venue that is sure to wow your patrons!

Katie has performed internationally and at various venues across America. At age ten, she won "Most Promising Female Artist" at the Country Tonite Theatre's Annual Country Music competition, held in Pigeon Forge, TN. Most recently, she won Brooklyn's "Wildwood Recording Studio" weekly songwriting contest with her songs, "Cool, You're Happy" and "Wearing Pink". She plans to record the songs and hopes to visit the studio in New York soon.

 

On March 19, 2025, Katie's song "A Place on Earth" aired on WCLZ's "Music from 207".  She will release the independently produced music video for the song on Easter 2025.

Katie's U.S. appearances include the Shakedown Tavern (Omaha, NE) Sacred and Profane Brewing (Biddeford, ME), Malden Porch Fest (Malden, MA) Pinz Bowling (Portsmouth, NH),  Newscapes Brewing and One Longfellow Square (Portland, ME)  and Club Passim (Boston, MA). She has also been featured in various festivals, including Biddeford's Pollinator Festival, Winterfest, and Music in the Park Series.

 

Katie has played various places across the United Kingdom, including London and Kinston Upon Thames. In 2018, her song "Midnight Blue" aired on the BBC University of East Anglia's student radio station in Norwich, England. In 2022, she was featured on Scotland's "Buskers of Glasgow" facebook page.
